Despite the considerable sequence dissimilarity between both taxa, there are several highly conserved sequence motifs common to Artemia and the metacrangonyctid 12S RNA; namely: in the loop at domain I presumably involved in tertiary folding (positions 150 169), in three helices at domain II and in most of the primary sequence of domain III (see Figure 7).
Titration of a sample of [CH3-Met]LD with TMAO results in a loss of intensity of the random coil Met18 resonance, and a parallel increase in the intensity of a broad resonance near the folded position.

Proteins harness the free energy of folding to position ionizable groups in highly specific environments that strongly affect their pKa values.
The carton-folding position can be analysed by this hypothetical mechanism and the trajectory can be generated from the carton motion model and from the sequence analysis.
What I noticed first was a rather repulsive and large ad -- in the right-hand column in the "above-the-fold" position -- for a tooth-bleaching product.
No contradictory motion of vocal fold was observed postoperatively, and the postoperative glottic closure, vocal fold position, vocal fold edge, and phase symmetry and regularity were significantly improved compared to those of preoperation (P<0.001).
Preoperative video-recordings (see Supporting Information Video S1) showed mildly to severely bowing vocal fold edges, paramedian or intermediate vocal fold position, severely incomplete glottic closure and irregular vocal fold vibration during phonation in most patients (see Fig. 3A B).
Analysis of videostroboscopic findings indicated that the glottic closure, vocal fold edge, vocal fold position, phase symmetry and regularity were significantly improved in the UVFP group (P<0.001, postoperative vs. preoperative).
Two years after laryngeal reinnervation, video-recordings (see Supporting Information Video S2) showed that 92.4% (219/237) of the patients had straight vocal fold edges, median or near median vocal fold position, symmetrical and regular vocal fold vibration, and complete glottic closure during phonation (see Fig. 3C D).
No signs of atrophy, as well as impairment of the vocal fold position, were observed.
