It is possible that it was intended as "flow from being" or "change from being," but without more context it is difficult to determine the intended meaning. To use either of these phrases in a sentence, you could say something like: - The flux from being a student to being a professional can be unsettling. - The flow from being friends to being something more can be gradual or sudden. - The change from being an introvert to being more outgoing was a gradual process.
This relates to the completeness of the model, because for instance a missing reaction in a linear pathway would prevent any non-null flux from being predicted in it at steady state, thereby inactivating all other reactions in the pathway.
