Then, the sample containing the TiO2 coating was annealed at 500°C with air flux 1 ml/s for 6 h.
The parameter ranges were mass flux 50 ∼ 3500kg m−2 s −1, heat flux 1 ∼ 300kWm−2, and inlet pressure 1 ∼ 3 bar resulting in mean boiling heat transfer coefficients of 0.1 ∼ 10 kW m−2C−1.
The mass flux (1 g/m2 s) and (virtual) heat release rate (24 kW/m2) of the solid at incipient ignition derived from this observation are in general agreement with experimental data for piloted ignition of plastics.
However, overall reduction in mass flux (Mass Flux 1) exiting the flowcell was lower in aquifer 2 (68%) than in aquifer 1 (81%), and local effluent concentrations were found to increase by as high as 120 times at local sampling ports from aquifer 2 after surfactant flushing.
The loaded nanoparticles with 23% (w/w) of metallic rhenium have shown to remain stable and separated and to keep out their sphericity at the lower neutron flux (1 × 1011 n/cm2/s for 0.5 h) which was used for rhenium content determination (neutron activation analysis, NAA).
In this experiment, as the moist/loose manure dried, conditions likely became more aerobic and reduced the denitrification activity, which could help explain the sustained reduction of N2O emission flux 1 h after watering (Fig. 1c), reaching background levels 24 days later (Fig. 1f).
