Turbulence models seek to solve a modified set of transport equations by introducing averaged and fluctuating components.

Due to the fact that integration of linear terms of the equations in fluctuating component in momentum and conservation equations equals to zero, the only change that is made in these equations due to turbulence will be for the displacement term of the momentum equation (in which multiplication of velocity to its derivatives brings about a non-linear answer).
Results show that although the mean pressure coefficient decreases as the area density increases and when the measurement points are located at the downstream side, the fluctuating component increases significantly, giving larger maximum and minimum coefficients than those for an isolated building.
