Called "The Abu Dhabi Dialogue on Temporary Contractual Labor," the conference brought together Ministers from 22 Asian countries, evenly divided between the 11 nations which supply the ever-increasing flow of migratory labor, and the eleven that contract with this labor force to sustain the dynamic growth of their economies.
Management issues include the management of river flows, the protection of migratory birds, the management of visitor disturbance, and the management of commercial exploitation.

The current analysis aims to contribute to the debate on ageing, by providing population and labour force projections for the 27 selected European countries for the period 2002-2052, condithenal on the demographic situation, in particular the magnitude of migratory flows in the area under study.

We must also do much more to demand reform from the countries that many migrants flee, to tackle the root causes of migratory flows.
