We are already seeing a move to more proactive deal-flow practices; understanding and taking more control over the source of deal flow from universities is another option toward this end.
However, testing algorithms and work-flow practices often gets in the way of providing quick results to the patient and ensuring same-day TB treatment and this was seen in a number of projects [ 36].
Approximately 1 2 weeks after the demonstration training, project staff went to each practitioner's office to conduct observations of the practice flow and practice environment.
The flow of practices through the trial is given in Figure 4. Five practices in the early intervention group withdrew before submission of the baseline audit data: the remaining six practices completed all aspects of the programme.
