A variety of topologies have been proposed for WMSN deployment, notably: single-tier flat, single-tier clustered and multi-tier (see Figure 1).
Mr Osborne told BBC One's Andrew Marr Show that the "generous" flat-tier pension would be "a huge boost for people who want to save for their retirement".

Matters become a little simpler in 2016 when the government introduces what's called the single tier flat rate, worth around £150 a week if you have a full (35-year) contribution record.
IVB paid a slightly higher third tier flat rate to beneficiaries, which was more generous than unemployment benefits for longer-duration claimants.
Those retiring after April 2016, when a new flat-rate single-tier pension is introduced, are not affected.
Mr Osborne also disclosed that the new single-tier, flat-rate pension, which will apply to people reaching state pension age from April 2016, would be set at £155.65.
The resulting blossoms are a motley lot, some with a formal decorative form and some not so formal; some with slender, quilled petals bursting out of the center like exploding fireworks, some with a single tier of fat flat petals gently turned up at the edges.
