Firstly, we investigated the first group of samples with a total InGaAs layer thickness fixed at 8 nm, while the InAs QD layer was inserted in the InGaAs matrix at a different depth in the growth direction.
Additional UHRR samples were included in two groups of replicates corresponding to different labelling protocols; the first group of samples was obtained from the same amplification and labelling (Ambion) as the UHRR samples used in experiment 2 ('C23'-'C25').
To achieve biological replication of the data obtained with the first group of samples, we confirmed the hypermethylation of the four genes identified above using an additional set of samples from the frontal cortex of APP/PSEN1 and 3xTg-AD mice using a different DNA methylation technique, pyrosequencing (Fig. 2D).
The first group of samples consisted of various organs originating from 53 animals: spleen, testicles (tissue samples from both testicles of each boar were examined separately), accessory sexual glands, uteri in different stages of gravidity as well as non-gravid uteri samples, lung, and in individual cases penis with prepuce, placenta, kidney, and bladder containing urine.
The corrosion rate of the second group of samples was relatively low, however, the sample surface became yellow, dull and dark compared to the first group of FRP.
A second group of samples (MUL) were synthesized using the multimodal selection and concatenation strategy discussed in the previous section of this paper.

At the same time, a close inspection of the Raman spectra for the second group of samples (see Fig. 4) detects an appearance of Ca O local vibrational mode at about 336 and 412 cm−1, and Raman features at 642 and 971 correspondedonded the stretching vibration of the monomer SiO4 and the stretching vibration of the chain SiO4 tetrahedron, respectively [19].
The second group of samples for microarray analysis consisting of 3 CTGF-treated and 3 corresponding control ovaries was run, pre-processed and analyzed post factum, separately from the rest of the samples as a result of a discovery from network analysis.
