First, by using simple OLS models with firm fixed effects, we investigate the potential impact on the Phillips curve of changes in firm composition.
This result stands up to a series of tests, including measurement issues such as unobserved time-invariant firm heterogeneity, the potential endogeneity of the firm composition, but also to alternative definitions of the immigrant status and the reduction of our sample to firm-year observations with at least one immigrant per firm.
