Modified Finger-Floor Distance Test.
Finger-floor distance (in centimeter) was quantified using a measuring tape, yielding the MFFD value.
Three measures were collected with respect to this domain the Modified Passive Thomas Test, Modified Thomas Test with Pressure using a goniometer (KaWe Kirchner & Wilhelm, Germany), and the Modified Finger-Floor Distance Test using a measuring tape.
The distance between the fingertips and floor (FFD = Finger-Floor-Distance) was measured in cm.
This could have resulted in less precise estimates of ICC and measurement error of forward flexion finger-floor-distance and the Schober test if the protocol was followed.
The participants were asked to bend forward as far as possible with knee, arms and fingers extended and the chiropractor measured the distance between the fingertips and the floor (finger-floor distance, FFD).

The physical examination consists of the straight leg raising test, the crossed straight leg raising test, test of Bragard, finger-floor distance, standing on toes and heels, knee tendon reflex, ankle tendon reflex, strength of m. extensor hallicus longus, sensory tests (touch, sharp and blunt) in the dermatomes L5/ S1 in the feet.
Main Outcome Measures: Outcome measures included Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire, numeric pain score, patient satisfaction, and distance from finger to floor (in centimeters).
Lastly, mobility was tested by measuring finger to floor distance when bending forward while in a standing position [ 32].
