Our total findings overlapped with others ranged at 31 90%, with the closest (90.91%) achieved by comparison to post-hoc analysis we applied on the Affymetrix colon cancer exon array data set [20], [24], [35] [37], making false negatives unlikely.
Their findings overlapped regionally with ours, despite the difference in time period of evaluation [ 11].
Several sub-themes were found within the larger themes and many of the findings overlapped multiple themes.
None of these findings overlapped with the miRNAs identified by Lin et al. and Zhou et al. [ 19, 26, 29].
The findings overlap with some previous reports, suggesting that some reactions to the screening programme by its target group are common across the UK, and perhaps more widely.
Given that our findings overlap with previous research on acceptability of HPFI in general, it could perhaps be concluded that they give an indication of the range of opinion present on the issue [ 21].
Although these findings suggest overlapping regulatory functions, the picture is likely far more complex.
Our findings of overlapping impairments in decision-making and reflection impulsivity in the two target groups adds to a growing body of data that implicate these processes as pre-existing vulnerability factors in the addictions [ 12, 22].
Reviewing their clinical details (Seemanova, E and 't Hart, L.M., personal communication in October 2011), most of the findings were overlapping with that of our case, whereas some features were distinct (Table 1).
The same set of multiple genetic variants of small effect were also associated in a bipolar disorder sample, supporting findings for overlapping risk between these disorders from family-based epidemiological studies [ 7].
Although more research is necessary to establish the link between structural and FC aberrations, these simulated effects are in support of our empirical findings of overlapping SC and FC impairments concentrated in the motor network (Table II).
