The panel recommended immediate improvement in five areas: youth-serving agency collaboration, treatment system financing, workforce development, the implementation of evidence-based practices, and family involvement in all aspects of treatment.
Our Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke SEADD) team has done incredible work this year – they selected our 3rd cohort of social entrepreneurs to bring the total to 25 organizations working in healthcare delivery, financing, workforce training, and product/technology innovation.

The health system building blocks most commonly experiencing significant or very major bottlenecks across all nine intervention packages, were health financing, health workforce and health service delivery.
These components mirror those of the WHO health systems' building blocks 18 (leadership and governance; health financing; health workforce, quality health services; and drugs, vaccines, and technologies), with the addition of communication/social mobilization and supervision/performance quality assurance.
Health system issues such as financing, health workforce, and the role of external actors are likely to be distinct between developing and developed countries even if some lessons have value for both settings [ 27].
