During the development and maturation of the adult nervous system, several consecutive events, from neural induction to axon-dendrite arborization and synapse formation, contribute to the final exquisite specificity of neuronal networks.
Differences in affinity for ubiquitin/UBLp by the component parts of the cascade, as well as a hierarchical increase in the numbers of these proteins (e.g. there is one E1 for ubiquitin, several E2s and an increasing number of characterized E3s), drive the transfer of ubiquitin/UBLp through the cascade with the final target specificity mediated through the E3 complex.
After correction of these two cases, the final sensitivity, specificity and concordance rates of CK19/CEA to the permanent pathological tests rose to 100% (Table 4B).
Meanwhile, when we combined the variables of SNAP, gestational age, apnea of prematurity, PDA, and surfactant use in the final model, specificity increased to 90%, and positive likelihood ratio increased to 7.4.
This is followed by two other enzymes specific to the pathway, α-isopropylmalate isomerase and β-isopropylmalate dehydrogenase, and a final broad-specificity transaminase (Figure S1).
