Pixar's render farm is racks on racks on racks of powerful computers ready to turn a jumble of assets into gorgeous final renders for the movie theaters.
For now, Google has shared a colorful but "not final" rendering of what it could look like — the most important part, however, is that it will help Google websites and services load faster across Southeast Asia, India and the wider Asian region.
Nouvel's initial inspiration for 53W53 were early 20th-century American architect Hugh Ferriss' charcoal renderings of classic New York skyscrapers, such as the Majestic Hotel and the Woolworth Building – but final renders of 53W53 show far less platonic geometry.
The final texture was created by colouration and image information directly on its surface in preparation for the final rendering and animation process (Fig. 4).
