Using thermodynamic simulations with DICTRA®, it was possible to predict the SiC dissociation in the ferrous matrix studied (Fe+0.6C).

In the LAP 02206 host matrix, Ca-pyroxene, awaruite, Fe, Ni-sulfide, ferrous olivine, sodalite and plagioclase were observed (Fig. 1c and Additional file 1: Table S1).
