"Mick McCarthy has done a great job for the last five and a half years but we felt the trend was going only one way and with a third of the season left we felt we had to act, get a new manager in and arrest the decline.
Although Vallance feels the trends in the job market are as bleak as the current economic climate, "in any field, if you are good at what you do, you'll get a good job".
"It was a beautiful shell," she said, "but they hadn't really adapted to what I feel the new trends are, so I thought there was an opportunity to do something".
"I feel the same trends are happening.
Again, the orthopedic decision-maker has to rise above the level of just keeping a finger in the air to feel the latest trends.
"Visually arresting objects, of fantastic quality, I feel is the trend with new collectors," said Peter Petrou, an English dealer at the show.

Additionally, I feel that the trend of increased time spent alone can actually be a great thing for our society, as people are spending more time contemplating the world around them.
So regardless of whether the technology hits 100% adoption, I feel like the trend is that it is being accepted.
