In further support of the hypothesis that inhibiting sialidases can break a sialidase → fibrosis → sialidase positive feedback loop, we observed that DANA treatment starting 10 days after bleomycin decreased NEU1, NEU2 and NEU3 staining at 21 days (Supplementary Fig. S12).
