If the advance of science results in an increase or decrease in the resources needed for deductive systematization of science (or whatever is the favored task of logic), what counts as logic changes accordingly (Warmbrod 1999, 533).
Now, the threshold θ1 for the "favored" task 1 still converged to zero, but the threshold for the other task, θ2, exhibited evolutionary branching (Geritz et al. 1998) (Fig. 3a, b).
Last, for a given difficulty level, when the difference in performance was smaller, subjects' choices favored tasks which provided external feedback (Fig. 4b, second and fifth panels): i.e., when task performance levels are similar, external feedback is the dominant influence on SPEs.

During dual tasking, such resource allocation may favor one task, may be equal, or may shift from one task to another at different critical time points during the action.
