Discover LudwigThe phrase "fancy on" is not grammatically correct and is not commonly used in written English.
It is possible that it is a mistake or a dialectical variation of a different phrase. Instead, you could use "fancy" in the sentence, as in "I fancy a piece of chocolate cake" or "She fancies herself to be a good singer." "On" can also be used in a grammatically correct way in the sentence, but it would need to be paired with a different word, such as "get" or "go". For example, "I fancy going on a trip to Europe" or "He fancies himself to get a promotion next month." Example: "She had a fancy on becoming a fashion designer since she was a little girl."
