According to that z-VAD.fmk (1 h-pretreatment at 100 μM) was not able to prevent PES-induced cell death in BCBL1 and very slightly prevented it in BC3 cells in which a faint cleaved form of caspase 3, not detectable in BCBL1 cells, was observed.
