With the support of the college, including faculty, staff, and classmates, thirteen girls, between the ages of twelve and fifteen, arrived at the Mount Holyoke College MHCcampuspus.
Now, Ms. Wright-Jukes rises each morning at 3 a.m. to take courses, do homework, and communicate with faculty members and classmates online -- all before waking up her sons and getting them ready for school.
"We're confident that once MOOC students begin interacting with our expert faculty and their fellow classmates, they'll begin forming a lasting educational relationship with the university," said Lawrence J. Johnson, the interim provost.
Although I have spent an admittedly short time in my chosen program, I have been consistently pleased with my interaction with faculty, my classmates, and the general atmosphere.
Results of the survey indicate that faculty at this institution are delivering online classes that meet the students' needs in regard to interaction with professors and classmates and course content.
In response, hundreds of students, faculty, and staff formed a circle around Muslim classmates who gathered to perform one of Islam's five daily prayers.
Second visits were extremely important for meeting faculty, students, and possible classmates, and refreshing faded memories.
