At a recent hearing, Riverside County Superior Court Judge Elaine M. Kiefer said she found some practices at the facility "troubling to say the least" but questioned whether they amount to murder.
And when the North owns up to one enrichment facility, who is to say there aren't others hidden?
"Our world-class construction, engineering and contract oversight capabilities will deliver a state-of-the-art, highly technical facility to NASA," said Col. Paul Olsen, Corps of Engineers Norfolk District commander, in the news release.
So running large facilities is controversial, to say the least.
"If our dream is shared by those people that are in charge of the Olympic facilities, who's to say what can be achieved?
A facility manager had this to say; " The advantage to the facility is, one; they are getting another source of funds which is coming to boost the facility's upkeep and standards.
I had earlier wondered if Congress had allocated sums comparable to its expansive expenditures on Defense facilities to build, say, a language institute.
"We're excited to see the facility," Mr. Carbone said, declining to say any more.
He refused to say which facility the sportsman had been admitted to, or for how long he would receive treatment.
"I would expect both of these facilities to compete," said Joel Rinebold, executive director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy at Eastern Connecticut State University.
