The facilitation session started with Mr. Sam Adejoh Okedi, a Social Entrepreneur, speaking on the SDGs and the role of Youth in Implementation.
The facilitation session was very interactive as Mr. Sam Okedi asked the participants why they thought the SDGs failed and what the major differences between the MDGs and the SDGs were.
At the end of each facilitation session, hospitals had to commit themselves to further steps in implementation, against which their progress could be measured at the next visit or at the assessment visit at the end.
Under these circumstances, shipborne ad hoc networks (SANETs), counterparts of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) on land, were conceptualized in [6] and introduced in the International Marine Organization (IMO) Facilitation sessions (i.e., IMO FAL-38 and FAL-39), as well as the IMO Navigation, Communications and Search and Rescue session (i.e., IMO NCSR-2) [7-9].
Importantly, attendees in these FTs had the opportunity to preselect which EM series curriculum they wanted to focus on in the practice facilitation sessions.
The content of the workshop and facilitation sessions was built around an evidence-based workbook [ 10], which is part of the implementation package.
The same two resource persons conducted the introductory workshop and attended almost all of the facilitation sessions, one concentrating on clinical issues (EvR), the other on implementation issues (A-MB).
Care will be taken to ensure that staff do not handle study activities such as interviews or intervention session facilitation if they involve participants who are from their neighborhood or within their social circle to minimize the risk of breaches in confidentiality.
In addition, weekly meetings amongst facilitators, the senior trainer and the research team, provided opportunities for the senior trainer to role-model 'good' facilitation during debrief sessions, through probing facilitators to think through the problems they faced and discuss them as a group.
The second author mostly played a participant observer role and occasionally supported the facilitation of the sessions by interjecting comments or questions into the discussions.
Services such as management leadership training, facilitation of planning sessions or creativity development programs often fall into this category.
