In medical education, various methods are in use to facilitate reflection: reflective storytelling and writing, critical incident analysis, writing personal development plans and portfolios [ 11- 14].
The process that brings the enablers together is evaluation feedback (reflective practice), which in this proposed study will occur through facilitated reflection.
The transmitting-informative approach does not facilitate reflection, self-inquiry, involvement, or the conceptual change necessary to master evolutionary thought.
The eleven integration dimensions (a) to k)) listed in section 3 were used to facilitate reflection on the aspects of integration observed in the four case studies.
Outcome-based evaluation of student performance is required to evaluate student mastery of course objectives, validate efficacy of this simulation learning modality, facilitate reflection, and guide the debriefing process.
