Other guidelines including the HUGO statement on benefit sharing, the NCOB report, and the DoH similarly recommend prior consultation among stakeholders to establish and agree on the benefits, who to benefit and the nature and extent of stakeholder responsibilities.
h) Integration of stakeholders/the public into assessments: There is a varying extent of integration of stakeholders, and a very low extent of integration of the public.
The current users had concerns around the target audience and the nature and extent of communications and stakeholder engagement in product development.
