Although it has been shown that chest CT scans can precisely detect the extent of complications such as acute respiratory distress syndrome and pneumonia in patients with smoke inhalation [16, 17], the detection of the tracheal wall thickening caused by smoke inhalation with a CT scan had also never been reported previously.
The purpose of the present study was to determine the rate and extent of complications associated with using titanium mesh for bone regeneration and to identify which factors might be associated with postoperative complications, such as infection, soft tissue exposure, and graft failure.

Chest radiography and ultrasound are often not sufficient in the diagnosis of these complications where CT is more sensitive and may be necessary to detect and establish the extent of the complication.
The present study examined the hypothesis that hesperidin (HP) ameliorates oxidative stress and may be a limiting factor in the extent of CNS complication following diabetes.
