The answer is that the view does not transfer if we take the analogue of the denotation of a singular term to be the extension of a kind term.
The GSVD was developed as an extension of the singular value decomposition (SVD) that was already used directly as an analysis method [ 48, 49] and indirectly as part of a PCA [ 50, 51].
