To examine the relative ranking of genes belonging to these two hierarchical clustering branches within the COO-unclassified meta-profile we superimposed the cluster membership onto scatter plots of differential expression ranking.
However, we found a strong positive correlation (Rho = 0.88; p < 0.005) between display level ranking and overall scFv expression ranking as defined by relative spheroplastic levels, illustrated in Figure 3. Based on the ranking data, scFv clones were grouped into 'high', 'medium' or 'low' for phage display propensity and overall expression levels (Table 1).
The expression ranking of these miRNAs was minimally perturbed across the 40 samples (Figure S1).
Total expression ranking was also very consistent with clone C3 being the most variable.
(a ) Expression ranking of Cul4-Ddb1 components in LSKs compared to all probes available in microarray.
We identified divergent (reverse forward) TC pairs separated by at most 400 bp and merged all such pairs containing the same TC, while at the same time avoiding overlapping forward and reverse strand transcribed regions (prioritization by expression ranking).

Enriched Reactome pathways are in Additional file 6. Gene set enrichment was performed using GenePattern [ 47], the Molecular Signatures Database [ 48], and the expression ranked gene list.
For each tissue, the genes were ranked according to their mean expression level, and the Pearson correlation coefficient of the expression ranks across all 13 tissues for any two genes was obtained.
The TYRP1 expression ranked first and, alone, was predictive for DMFS and OS as validated in skin metastases, with the skin being the first site of recurrence (56% of all patients) (Savoia et al, 2009).
Such 'leading edge genes' were defined as subsets of genes that appappeared in an expression ranked gene list before the enrichment score of a given pathway reached its maximum [ 27].
PKs with restricted tissue expression (rank of expression breadth≤5) evolved significantly faster (p<0.001) than broadly expressed genes (rank of expression breadth>30).

Since I tried Ludwig back in 2017, I have been constantly using it in both editing and translation. Ever since, I suggest it to my translators at ProSciEditing.
