Our study shows similar results in the expression levels of Olfr genes with Magklara et al. (2011), that is, Olfr genes are lowly expressed, consistent with the "one neuron one receptor" hypothesis Overall, our study has detected more expressed Olfr genes than the previous studies and has identified Olfr genes and novel duplicate Obp genes that are expressed differentially between the two sexes.
