Scientists at the Monell Center in Philadelphia, which is partly financed by the food industry, recently did a study where they dumped children into two categories, those who were exposed to processed foods and those who weren't, starting at 6 months.
A type 304 stainless steel sample was exposed to processes including the standard ex-situ surface preparation, helium glow discharge cleaning (He-GDC), plasma discharges, and backfilling the vacuum chamber with filtered N2.
The middle class are increasingly exposed to processed and other salt- and chemical-rich food [ 9].
