The approach is based on an explicit projection of the free surface conditions onto a moving boundary, which is iteratively updated using a combination of an adaptive nodal displacement scheme, a B-spline smoothing, and a remeshing of the flow domain.
For example, possession of goods, such as a car and a house, may be an explicit projection of how wealthy a household is.
