"The fact that such a high-level politician served jail time for illegal financing is a lesson that no one in this country is above the law," said Laura Stefan, an anti-corruption expert at Expert Forum, a research group.

"With those who got rich, you see a network of connections into the communist elite and the security service," said Laura Stefan, an expert on justice and corruption at a Bucharest thinktank, The Expert Forum.
An expert forum allows the experts to discuss ideas of how to improve the educational tools.
