As expected, translation from the L2U construct decreased in the presence of increasing amounts of cap analog similar to that observed from the mRNA containing the β-globin 5' leader.
As expected, translation of the BM2-204 reporter mRNA generated products corresponding to the cap-dependent upstream product rlucM1-204 ∼366 kDa) and the termination-reinitiation product (BM2fluc ∼62 kDa).
The expected translation products were cleaved [GFP-F2A] and CherryFP, and the uncleaved polyprotein [GFP-F2A-CherryFP].
When analysed using translation systems in vitro the expected translation profile was observed: high-level 'cleavage' (>90%) at both of the 2As, producing the major translation products [GT-EYFP-2A], [ECFP-2A] and PAC.
As expected, translation efficiency of the truncation mutants in the absence of hTS increased relative to TS1-wt in correlation with the lower stability of the truncated variants, illustrating how less stable hairpin secondary structures present a smaller energy barrier to overcome by the translation machinery.
Correct translations were then coded for whether they were the expected translation (i.e., that provided by Nishimoto et al., 2005, for concrete items [the picture naming stimuli], or the translation assigned in the initial item selection stage e.g., ball ボール or an alternative translation).

Asked about expectations of translation to humans (of toxicity, carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, and treatment findings), most: expect translation >40% of the time; thought that misleading AR results should occur <21% of the time; and that if translation was to occur <20% of the time, they would be less supportive of AR.
Why would inhibiting translation elongation achieve a therapeutic index, since it is expected that translation of all mRNAs would be inhibited to the same extent by such inhibitors?
This is expected since translation requires production of energy (ATP) through oxidative phosphorylation which generates ROS; the increased ROS production (translation) leads to a greater oxidative DNA damage.
