Using the notion of the truncated variation we obtain a new theorem on the existence and estimation of the Riemann-Stieltjes integral.
The main contribution is that we introduced some new type growth conditions for nonlinearity and adopted the monotone iterative technique to establish the existence and estimation of the lower and upper bounds of the maximum and minimum solutions.
