These data are potentially consistent with earlier suggestions that distinct mechanisms exist for making correct choices, versus avoiding incorrect ones [25]; and that these two mechanisms learn independently and at different rates.
One may ask whether mathematical techniques exist for deducing the correct result independently of experiment, and the answer is almost always no.
