A new collection of scholarly essays, "Explorers, Fortunes and Love Letters: A Window on New Netherland," edited by Martha Dickinson Shattuck, draws on that work and shares the exhibition's perspective.
The Architecture and Design Museum, always plucky but sometimes prone to shoot itself in the foot, positioned a minor exhibition, "Windshield Perspective," as its designated PSTP show.

Each scientist curator is responsible for a separate room in the exhibition, and their perspectives on the topic are totally different: each of the four rooms represents an oppositional intellectual space.
