Jay Westerdal, chief executive of domain-registration market research firm Name Intelligence, disagrees, arguing that even smaller domain businesses can turn a profit, as long as they manage more than 100,000 names.
Petroff, chief executive of Time Domain in Huntsville, Ala., is stymied by federal bureaucrats.
"I've never heard of a local entrepreneur selling out and leaving," says Ralph Petroff, chief executive of Time Domain, a company that makes ultra-wide-band "radar vision" devices that let soldiers "see" through walls.
"Virtual reality is going to transform as much in the next 10 years as cellphone technology has in the last 10," predicted Daniel Seah, chief executive of Digital Domain, the special effects company co-founded by James Cameron in the early 1990s and sold to Chinese investors a few years ago after Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
"In some cases, you might even want to list your domain on EBay.com," said Anthony Morrison, chief executive of Invest Domains.
These brain areas play an established role in the "multiple-demand" system, which mediates all tasks of high executive requirements irrespective of domain (Owen et al. 2000; Duncan 2006, 2010).
Tim Chen, the chief executive of analytical firm Domain Tools, agrees, noting "it's difficult to make broad statements about the interest of a 'typical' member of the public.
In the executive function domain, 39 of 54 patients (72%) had preservation of NCF (including 23 of 54 patients [43%] who had improvement), 4 of 54 patients (7%) had worsening NCF, and 11 patients were not assessed.
Neither were there any significant effects of B vitamins on the memory or executive function domains of cognitive function when the data from the cognitive-domain trials were combined with additional data from the Women's Antioxidant and Folic Acid Cardiovascular Study (14) and SEARCH (17) trials that had such data (Supplemental Figure 2 under "Supplemental data" in the online issue).
