The circulation of nutrients between plants and soil in tropical forests involves excess uptake by the plants, and this in turn promotes deep weathering.
Results indicate that among these materials studied, PAF-302 shows the highest excess uptake of H2S (51.94 mmol/g) and SO2 (50.69 mmol/g) due to its large pore volume and high BET surface area.

The GCMC simulations show that the excess uptakes of pure CH4 and CO2 at 6.0 MPa and 298 K can reach 13.18 and 37.56 mmol/g, respectively.
