There was a trend toward improved sexual function in both groups at 2 years, although this failed to reach statistical significance except for the dimensions discomfort and habit in the UAE arm.
We also found patients with lower education levels are more satisfied, except for the dimensions Pre-admission visit and Autonomy and that gender does not have a significant effect on satisfaction scores on all dimensions.
Another finding was that the staff at the university hospital scored higher than the staff at the county hospital in all dimensions at both measurements except for the dimensions Frequency of event reporting, Information and support to patients after adverse events, and Feedback and communication about error.
