Throughout all of our experiments, we saw low levels of OA at 10 days of age, with mean OA never exceeding stage 1, classified as slight swelling at the top of the ovariole.
We performed the algorithm multiple times using the different possible cutoff thresholds defining the phenotype, finding that, in all cases, it is defined as exceeding stage IIIb in each of the ovarian data sets and stage I in each of the colorectal data sets.
A thermal threshold of 18 °C ensured a good gonadal development (GSI = 7.8%8%% and OD = 673 μm–689 μm) but the oocytes did not exceed stage 4 (early vitellogenesis).
However, at day 140, the GSI and OD were lower under 22 °C temperature in comparison with other thermal thresholds (GSI = 4%4.33%) (OD = 577 μm–635 μm) and the oocytes did not exceed stage 3 (late cortical stage).
The greatest benefit for AT was also observed in those with R1 disease (HR, 0.33; 95 % CI, 0.19 0.59), LN-positive disease (HR, 0.71; 95 % CI, 0.63 0.81), and AJCC staging meeting or exceeding tumor Stage II (HR, 0.45; 95 % CI, 0.26 0.79), but not in those with LN-negative or R0 disease.
Among these 11 studies, seven meeting or exceeding tumor stage II (n = 2,738) according to our prespecified definition (≥50 %) were analyzed independently [ 13, 15, 17– 19, 21].
To further substantiate our findings, the studies with 100%% of the patients meeting or exceeding tumor stage II were analyzed independently.
Thus, studies in which ≥50%% of the patients had nodal -positive/negative, R0/R1 disease on pathology and ≥50%% of the patients meeting or exceeding tumor stage II were calculated as the subgroup analysis.
No element exceeds weathering stage 3 with the majority of elements displaying stage 1 weathering patterns.
Fourth, seedlings used in this study might have exceeded the stage susceptible to soil pathogens which might have caused underestimation of negative soil biota effects34, and this possibility cannot be ruled out given the scarcity of pathogens detected in our study (Supplementary Figure 4).
