"If we can figure out other examples like that we can design safer drugs for patients," he said, adding that would help create specialized medications for smaller groups.
I think what happened with Leslie was a great example of that," he said, adding that shunning "probably happens more often than people will admit.
"It's stunningly beautiful and there's no example in any museum," he said, adding that a private US collector bought it, but it could well have sold to a museum such as New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.

"No medical benefits program covers every possible cost," he said, adding that Bartell, for example, does not pay for infertility drugs, Viagra or cosmetic surgery.
"People should remember that these diseases are hard to disseminate," he said, adding that anthrax spores, for example, are a powderlike substance that is not contagious.
