By publishing the information shared for the current review in an online, freely available database of ongoing interventions in the EU [ 19], we want to set an example for interventions worldwide to share their experiences, but also make optimal use of what is already available.
This needs to be accompanied by increasing public awareness about the schemes and developing innovative enrolment strategies to reach out to the poorest and most vulnerable; specific strategies and examples for intervention packages are outlined in individual papers [ 17- 22, 28].
