In lung lobectomy and total hysterectomy cohorts where data on surgical approaches were available, analyses were stratified by open versus minimally invasive approaches (i.e., lung lobectomy: video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS); hysterectomy: laparoscopic, laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH), vaginal) to examine the incremental effect of cancer in specific approaches.
To further examine the incremental effect of BNP on the conventional factors including age, gender, SBP, smoking, the total cholesterol/HDL ratio and glucose, the c-statistic using ROC (receiver operator characteristic) curve analysis was used.
We will also examine the incremental costs and benefits of receiving the intervention versus standard of care.
Substitution of the incremental costs (€797) and the incremental effects (0.12) in the formula for the incremental costs effectiveness ratio, indicates that the corresponding mean ICER is €6,642 per three months PD-free survival time for the factual condition.
