Following a nine-month examination of the programme known as Prevent, the Open Society Justice Initiative has recommended a major government rethink, particularly on its use in the education and health systems.
The strength of this project is its examination of accreditation programmes across acute, primary and aged care domains, and comprehensive multimethod approach designed to produce results of practical utility across the health system.
In particular, the weakness of the monitoring and evaluation system, the lack of critical examination of project and programme results, make any such estimate mere guesswork.
