The second was to determine the correlation between SP examiner and physician examiner scores of medical student performance on OSCE physical exam stations.
Furthermore, the execution of an OSCE needs to be precisely planned: enough trained examiners must be on hand, the exam stations need to be prepared (e.g. provided with suitable simulation materials and consumables), and the results need to be evaluated in due time.
Note that because the students and teaching staff developed OSCE stations independently, the similarities between the simulated OSCE and the exam OSCE stations were coincidental.
