This type of pressure pulses, at least at low order close to the blade rate frequency, can today relatively exactly be modeled using potential flow methods.
However, earlier works have showed that the coefficients may not exactly be modeled by using a normal PDF.
The result of K2P can be explained by the fact that the distance method uses exactly the model used to generate the data.
With the use of the noncircular orbit information to track the corner of the two full FOV camera heads, the emission and transmission projections were truncated from the side opposite the corner (Fig. 1) to exactly model the acquisition of the widely used small FOV Philips CardioMD system (36.0×20.4 cm).
