Everyone has a favorite good bad movie; "Magnolia" is a rare case of a great terrible movie... "The Green Mile," as perhaps you've gathered, is about good and evil, miracles and redemption, and I sat through it in a misery of embarrassment and irritation, increased by the sure knowledge that the movie will give comfort, and possibly even strength, to millions of people.
