The word "evictions" is correct in written English
It is used to refer to the legal process of removing a tenant from a rental property. Example: "The landlord initiated evictions for tenants who failed to pay their rent." Alternatives include "removals" or "forcible removals."
Last year the Government banned so-called "revenge evictions" carried out in response to complaints by tenants, but landlords can still evict people without giving a reason in ordinary circumstances.
