Congressmen spend every waking minute raising the stuff.
For the first 5 days of the burst phase, participants completed saliva assessments as in the EMA practice phase (i.e., upon waking, 15 min post-waking, 30 min post-waking, bedtime).
In addition, all participants provided four saliva samples (on waking, 30 min later, between 11 and 1 p.m., before lunch and between 8 and 10 p.m., at least 2 h after evening meal) over two consecutive days to assess cortisol levels.
In some cases, this effect was quite dramatic, as was observed for the wake min QTL at Q17@29 (LOD 7.6) where the estimated effect of the BALB genotype at this locus was 8.1 min in the light but −24.7 min in the dark (Supporting Information Table S3).
While it may be expected that QTL for mathematically related sleep-wake traits (e.g. measures of fragmentation such as nb NREM and db Wake) might map to the same region, QTL for less directly related traits (e.g. # Arousals and NREM delta power, or wake min and REM latency) might not have been expected to map to the same loci as occurred in Q1@75 (LOD 2.5 4.5) and Q13@2 (LOD 2.5 5.1) (Table 2).
All the sensor nodes wake every 15 min remaining waked for 1 min (T ON=60 s and T OFF=840 s). Figure 15 shows results for the first situation evaluated uniformly distributed network delays, with delays varying between ±20%×0.5 s, ±20%×1.0 s, and ±20%×2.0ss.
The patient started to wake 5 min after the completion of surgery, and her systolic blood pressure increased to 160 mmHg and pulse rate to 90 bpm.
The CAR (assessed both with increases from waking to 30 min and with area under the curve measures) was greater on early-shift days.
Subjects provided saliva samples at four time points during the day (waking, waking +40 min, early evening, and bedtime), which were assayed for E2 and T. Using these detailed hormonal data, we calculated E2 (n = 29) and T (n = 44) area-under-the-curve values, which provide insights on hormonal production over the study period.
The samples were collected immediately on waking, at 30 min after waking, after school and before bed.
