In the evaluation of situations in which patients presented at any of the mentioned clinical outcomes, we similarly found a tight correlation between advanced T classification (p = 0.018), T3-T4 grouping (p = 0.005), positive N classification (p < 0.001; Figure 4), up-regulation of SDC1 mRNA (p = 0.013; Figure 4) and SDC2 stromal reactivity (p = 0.002).
The participants in all three groups had a tendency to change from unwilling to willing to participate after presented with Card 2. It might be that information presented in additional formats helped to reduce uncertainty or the feeling of being uncertain, which in turn contributed to re-evaluation of situation or decision making.
Although it would be anachronistic to saddle him with any specific contemporary account of the emotions, it seems clear that his underlying view is close to what Western psychologists and philosopher call an "appraisal theory" of emotions, according to which emotions are motivational states closely connected to evaluations of situations (de Sousa 2014, Section 4).
When egos are removed from the mix and efforts are tracked for later review and refinement, truly successful entrepreneurs evolve on their journeys and remain critical in their evaluations of situations that affect their outcomes.
Eventually, the comparison may involve complex cognitive evaluations of situations and their potential consequences, which in turn is based on previous experiences in equal or similar situations [ 19, 24].
We describe subjective stress in accordance with Lazarus et al., who stated that stress is not defined by the objective requirements of the situation, but by the person's subjective evaluation of the situation and his/her strategies to cope with it [ 15].

According to Lazarus' (1991) cognitive-motivational-relational theory of emotion the evaluation of a situation on the one hand and the individual perceived degree of coping with this situation on the other hand are relevant for acting.

Dewey's analysis of the organic, cultural, and formal conditions of intelligent action implies that all reflective conduct issues in an evaluation of a situation with respect to future action and consequences; thus, inquiry is essentially an evaluative procedure.
